SD cards can enable your Arduino to store a large amount of data in a very small space. The microSD card form-factor is now more common than the full size card. Nearly all microSD cards comes with an adapter that will allow you to use them with a standard sized card reader.
Buy an 8GB SDHC MicroSD Card (with a full-size adapter) from Amazon or Adafruit.
